PinLens (“we”, “us”) is a product of Xeviora. This policy explains what data the PinLens Chrome extension and the PinLens website (pinlens.xeviora.com) collect, and why. Our core principle is simple: the pins you browse and collect stay on your device, and AI features are strictly opt-in.
1. Your browsing and pin data stays local
The extension reads the pin data that Pinterest already delivers to your browser while you browse (engagement counts, publish dates, authors, image URLs) and stores it in your browser’s local database (IndexedDB via chrome.storage permissions). This library — including anything the board cleanup scan finds — is never uploaded to us or to any third party. You can export or delete it at any time from the extension.
Downloading a pin image is a direct request from your browser to Pinterest’s CDN. We do not proxy, log, or see those requests.
2. AI features (opt-in)
The AI pin copy writer only runs when you explicitly trigger it. When you do, the specific pin’s image URL, its existing title/description, its destination link, and your chosen keywords are sent to our backend, which forwards them to our AI inference provider (OpenRouter) to generate the copy. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not retain the content after the request completes beyond transient processing and standard short-lived operational logs.
3. Account data
You do not need an account to use the browsing tools. An account is only required for the AI writer, Pro tools, and billing. If you sign up, we store your email, name (if provided), and authentication records via our own independent authentication system. Session cookies are host-only to pinlens.xeviora.com and are not shared with other Xeviora sites.
If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive only the basic profile information needed to create your account (email and name).
4. Credits and payments
AI usage is metered in credits. We keep an append-only ledger of credit grants and usage tied to your account. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record (Xeviora is the seller). We never receive or store your full card details — Paddle handles all payment data. See Paddle’s privacy policy for how they process payment information.
5. Your Pinterest account
PinLens does not ask for your Pinterest password and does not use Pinterest’s login APIs. It works alongside your existing Pinterest session in the browser, reads the same data Pinterest sends to that session, and never posts, saves, follows, messages, or deletes anything on your behalf. PinLens is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest.
6. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not track your browsing across the web.
- We do not use analytics or advertising trackers inside the extension.
- We do not see your pin library or cleanup reports — they never leave your device.
7. Data retention & deletion
Local data lives only in your browser; uninstalling the extension or clearing its storage removes it. To delete your account and associated AI/billing records, contact us at the address below and we will remove them, subject to legal and accounting retention requirements.
